Wellness Exams

A regular exam is just as important for your pet as it is for you. At Flying Cloud Animal Hospital, a thorough physical exam is one of the most important things we can do for your pet. Routine check-ups help our veterinarians get to know your pet; these visits are useful in helping spot potential medical problems before they become serious or life-threatening.

Extra care is often necessary for pets that are either very young or approaching their senior years. Because of this, our veterinarians stress the importance of counseling new owners on how to care for their puppy. Our doctors also help clients learn how to care for senior pets and can provide information about diet, arthritis and other senior pet concerns.

Nutritional Counseling

Just as with humans, obesity can be dangerous for your pet's health. We offer nutritional counseling services that will help you design and implement a weight-loss program for your pet.

Behavioral Counseling

If your pet has behavior problems and standard training techniques are not solving the problem, behavioral therapy might help. We offer a range of pet behavioral therapy services, and our skilled staff is ready to work with you and your pet.

Hydrotherapy and rehabilitation

Flying Cloud Animal Hospital will soon offer canine physiotherapy and rehabilitation services for post-operative dogs, orthopedic patients and obese or geriatric patients. Sessions include hydrotherapy workouts on our underwater treadmill.

Emergency Services

After-hours emergency service is available through the Affiliated Emergency Vet Services, a separate emergency facility in Eden Prairie. Affiliated Emergency Vet Services can be contacted at 952-942-8272.
