In early spring of 2009 our Golden Retriever, Boomer, became seriously ill and refused to eat. This is extremely rare for him as he loves anything to eat. We had just relocated to Eden Prairie from the Louisville, KY area and had not selected a veterinarian yet. We received a recommendation from our pet sitter to use Flying Cloud Animal Hospital and especially Dr. Krull. It was the best thing we have done for our companion animals.

We contacted Flying Cloud and made an immediate appointment with Dr. Krull. He was extremely caring and we could tell that he truly loved and cared about animals immediately. Through his thorough examination and tests, Dr. Krull discovered that Boomer had eaten an object from our backyard and it had lodged in his intestines. Dr. Krull performed abdominal surgery and removed the object. Because of his care and unending determination to find out what was wrong with Boomer, we have celebrated Boomer's 7th year of life and are getting ready to celebrate his 8th year of life. Without Dr. Krull and the staff at Flying Cloud, we would have lost Boomer before he turned 7.

We have recommend Flying Cloud to several friends and co-workers. We know that Flying Cloud Animal Hospital gives the best care possible to all of our three dogs. We also know that the staff at Flying Cloud are concerned about the welfare of the animals they treat and will not recommend procedures or tests just to increase the profit of the hospital. There is never any pressure to perform expensive tests and we always receive explanations of options to treat our dogs. I've been a customer of Flying Cloud Animal Hospital since 1990. The staff has always been more than helpful and accommodating to any request I have had. No question is off limits and procedures are explained fully. They went above and beyond the call of duty when I adopted my first Scottie, Monroe, and helped me deal with the various medical conditions he had. Ultimately, they were there with compassion and kindness when it was time to say goodbye to Monroe.

Since Monroe, we have had many of our foster dogs go through Flying Cloud. They've treated everything from ear infections to bladder cancer. I am proud that several of our adoptive families have continued on with Flying Cloud after adopting their dogs. Dr. Harris and the other vets have become an integral part of our rescue process, and for that, I am grateful.
